I've decided to sell my 1994 Casita 16' Spirit Deluxe. Since my wife died a few years ago my camping preferences and locales have changed. Sometimes I go places I wouldn't dare try and take the trailer.

When you look at the pictures you'll notice that I've added a simple table extension over the side dinette seat closest to the bed. When we ate dinner, my wife would sit at the seat nearest the front bath and I would sit on the edge of the bed. Because we left the bed made up at all times, the extended side dinette table was very useful for holding those miscellaneous items that just seem to be needed and it provided a support for two small drawers underneath The extension is easily removed if it isn't wanted and, of course, all 4 cushions for the side dinette will go with the trailer.

That has GOT to be the biggest TV I've seen somebody mount into an egg...

Heck - I've got the kids playing multiplayer video games on a 9-incher...

Mark...The trailer DOES have a front bath..consists of a water closet (toilet), SMALL sink and a shower head...this is a "wet bath" in that everything in the room gets wet when you shower because the shower is NOT in a separate room from the water closet and sink....I doon't use the bathroom as a bathroom. Instead I use it to store 3 or 4 gallons of water while on the road, hang jackets, especially when they are wet, damp towels, a small table for outside use, extra shoes, umbrellas, and sundry other items. You may have noticed in one of the pictures that I have added a box that fills the shower pan area, the top of which is at a more convenient height for shorter people needing to use the water closet. My wife found the height much more comfortable. The box is approximately 4 inches deep and I put those items I wanted to have with us but were seldom used in there, nicely out of the way but readily available.

Mike...that IS a big television for a 16' trailer...it is a Toshiba 23" LCD hi-definition ...I have a pair of Bose speakers attached. It pulls in weak signals really well. When I watch television, which is seldom when I'm on the road, I have a really good picture and sound.
The antenna I use is a simple rabbit ears that I attach to the outside of the trailer with a suction cup. The TV antenna that came with the trailer didn't do well at all, not nearly as good as the raabbit ears....the inside coonnection for theTV cable is an amplifier and that helps a lot....

Denise...the trailer is still for sale..the TV does NOT go with the trailer though this can be negotiable. I purchased the television on 11/05/2004 and payed $1696.00 including sales tax, it was purchased specifically for the Casita, not for use in my home. In all that time I think it has less than 20 hours total use. Obviously I'm not going to ask nearly the selling price, but at the sme time I'm not going to give it away. I don't have a television in my bedroom so if it doesn't go with the trailer that's where it will end up.

Russell

I forgot to mention, that price includes a 4 year service plan from Best Buy that is transferrable

If the trailer is still for sale I would like to make a deal to purchase the Casita including the T.V. If you could let me know how to contact you or I can email you my phone number. Please let me know if this sounds good to you. Thank you again, Denise.
