Ah, yes. They were anything but "airtight". But, $39 for a wood stove. How can you resist?
Did you leave a dollar bill stapled to the ceiling at the Pink Mountain Motel bar?

I have a cubic mini wood stove in my trailer, 16 scamp it sits on a stainless steel counter top and the pipe goes through the window with an aluminum plate in the window so it is removable. It heats the trailer nicely but will only burn about 3 hours when wide open using a fan to force feed it air and move heat around. If shut down it doesn't put out much heat. It is Sum what of a hassle to use but you can't beat the dry heat. I put it in to use for boondocking to save on battery useage but that is going to change soon when I go to lithium batteries.
