Someone asked me to post setup on our
Trillium 1300 for
solar charging the deep cycle batteries... so here it goes..
Two stacked batteries wired in sequence and connected to an AC marine charger in the tongue box that run the
fridge and
lights.
Also directly cabled to the batteries is an 8.5 amp
solar charge controller shown here:
Wires come out back of box and I have a long extension cable that connects and let’s me move panel around:
The panel itself is 100 watts with same plug connectors from Canadian tire and has a simple plywood stand to hold it up:
Works great and panel and stand just slide back into box for travel and cables store in the tongue box....
