1980 Trillium dc power

We are the 3rd owners of a Trillium 1300 deluxe. Trying to figure the electrical system out. I have downloaded the wiring diagram. My question.... Is there somewhere "hidden" a DC port to plug in a dc run appliance when NOT connected to shore power?

I have looked pretty thoroughly.I don't see anything like this marked on the diagram either.

Our maiden trip will be at a campsite with power. But just thinking ahead.

Thanks,
Jane

I’ve never seen one factory installed on an older molded trailer. I believe Scamp only recently added an option for one.

I think you’ll have to add your own. It’s a common modification.

One thing about the wiring diagram in the document center, it shows the MOST stuff your Trillium can have. A lot of the electrical stuff were options. So my 1300 for example didn't have a battery. But the wiring was there to add one.

I found the wiring diagram in the document center to be VERY accurate as to physical wires in my rig and the color coding, but appliances and stuff were options. Just one example, fridge was an option, yet the diagram shows one (mine did come with a fridge). On and on it goes.

To make your trailer most useful, installing a modern power center AND a battery are must dos IMHO.

One of the many things in my plan is to add an exterior water tight door, about 4"x4". This will be on the latch side of the trailer door just ahead of the wheel well. Inside will be a number of electrical connections, including:
12 VDC cigarette lighter socket
120 VAC plug
RCA jacks for left and right speakers
RJ45 network jack
TV antenna jack
Auxiliary 12 DC power plug for awning lights, switched by an additional switch, beside the door light switch.

...probably more.

for one that has standard 12 VDC plug, USB charge, and a volt meter all in one.
