Rain gutter ideas on Scamp 19

So we are curious what folks are doing to prevent rain coming down under the awning on the Scamp 19? In the past ( on the Scamp 13 and Scamp 16) we installed a piece of rain gutter and caulked it so the water ran down to the ends but the Scamp 19 poses more of a challenge with the angle up to the loft area. Any suggestions would be great! 😊

Thanks in advance

I found the perfect solution for the Catalina 2500.
I simply dropped a length of PVC pipe into the gap from above and sealed it from above with silicone caulk. It is invisible and forms an excellent gutter which seals the awning.
Some iteration of this method would work well with your awning which has a larger gap. Perhaps a larger pipe or even a modified PVC gutter would do well and offer a good and permanent solution.

Rain gutter behind awning

So on our Scamp 19 we have a long straight space then it angles up tor the loft area so we are gonna put a gutter and a j channel piece coming down to meet the gutter and caulk it all all. It’s quite a large space that tapers down. Fingers crossed, we will post pics when it’s done

They do make this stuff...
It has limited effectiveness , but it looks good and is easy to install without harming the surface.

We recently installed the EZE gutters that Floyd pictured in post #4
They do work / help but as Floyd pointed out they are only marginally effective and they are not inexpensive
One pointer if you want them to stick & stay , preparation/ cleaning the surface is key .
