Hello…New owner of Bigfoot B17
Good evening,
I’d like to introduce myself to this forum. I am a recent owner of a 1987 Bigfoot B17 Travel Trailer! We are excited to use it and love the layout it has for such a small trailer.
My first question is, where does anyone recommend getting the back window replaced?
Any insight is welcomed!
Thank you!

Nice trailer. I’d say you might want to tell everyone where you are for suggestions on the window.

By the way, we are located in Medford, Oregon. Can these windows be replaced by a standard professional glass company?

it is that smaller port window in the back?
from another post I saw, RV Windows by Sun-View Industries carries windows that could fit it. I took it from this post. https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/...tml#post475377
the replacement of a window like this is fairly easy. It is not openable I believe, yes?
you would need measurements, ordering it, cleaner solution, and Butyl tape... oh, and a bit of time, and you will be running like new.
If you are looking for someone to do it for you, I would hope someone in Oregon could help for a rec, but if not a local RV repair shop might be able to help.

Brooks, since you live in Medford you could check with the specialty glass company in Talent Oregon.
By the way that looks like a nice trailer.

When I needed to replace windows on my 2002 17'Bigfoot I found that Sunview had such detailed data they were able to identify the exact window models I needed. Give them a call.

I am SO jealous! I have always wanted a BF17. But it doesn't make sense for me to have two vehicles, and I just can't justify a bigger tow vehicle as a daily driver.
Please help me to suffer further ... post photos of your interior. Is this a center bath or a rear corner bath?

Hello and congratulations on your new Bigfoot. We bought a 1995 17 foot center bath a few weeks ago in Salem Oregon. We are in Portland. Our trailer has the back window as the emergency escape portal. Your year may be a diffeerent configuration, but the emergency featuere should not be eliminated.
