I am not sure a picture of parts would be very educational. I will try to describe the process to the best of my understanding.
The upper bed deploys much like the table on the Trillium does. That is, it has something like a U shaped round rod that bends out, (maybe in?) at the top of the U. These bent out parts are in a bracket that is attached to the inside, plywood window frame on the rear window, half way between the up and down position. The brackets allow the rod to rotate between the up and down position. The bottom of the U is attached to the same type of bracket on the back of the bed platform. To deploy the bed, the platform is pulled toward the front of the trailer and swings, down to the deployed position. This platform is a two piece assembly that folds in half using a piano hinge. There are small oak beams that run from one side of the trailer to the other, on the bottom of the platform. The trick is there are also large chromed brackets on the side windows. They are each made of two fairly thick sheet metal L shapes, connected by chromed tubes welded to the L shapes. These are connected to the plywood inner frames, of the side windows, at the same height as the pivot point of the U shaped rod. The brackets also pivot, at the top of the L. When down the vertical part of the L is up against the window frame and the horizontal part of the L is sticking straight out. This cradles the bed platform when it comes down and unfolds. When put away, the L's are kind of upside down, (the pivoting top of the L is vertically in line with the outside lip of the bottom of the L) and the folded platform rests on and sort of hooks to the L's.

This is all speculation, since I have never witnessed this process myself. I just have all the parts. I will try to remember to post pictures, maybe even measurements, of the parts tonight, (no promises).

PJ, I love pictures. If I could make a request, two of the outside, front curb side, and rear road side. This covers all four sides. Inside, I like to see all the features so maybe four or five, (gaucho, kitchen, dinette and closet and data sheet in the closet)

Sorry for being demanding.

Hi David, just asking a question about my T4500, are you looking for pics from me or do you have what you need? Just remember that mine was dragged away from a remote farm and had a lot of work to bring it to be able to be used. Not a small job for someone who did it on his own except for hooking up the gas lines and checking for safety. I did come with the number tag in the clothes closet door and the walls covered and the FG parts for the beds/benches, clothes closet and kitchen cupboard. All appliances, cushions, drawers and curtains had to be removed from a used tent trailer. If you need more info, now is a good time, I am in home isolation, the weather is reasonable. I took some short-cuts on renovation because I did not know if my partner was interested in RV life? :-)

George, I see three pictures in your Registry. Are there any more?
I had sent you a PM about the awining that used to be on the front of your trailer. I am also interested in the front window. Do you still have them?

Hi Dave, yes I have all the parts and want to keep them in case I want to change my Trillium. It is my escape pod in case I have to leave the area on short notice. Since it is sitting in my backyard, I can take pictures of it, if you need them for your registry. Regards, George

Skipper, You're half way there. Since you have posted your serial number, all I would want you to do now is post pictures, as many as you want. What I usually request is two of the outside so that all four sides are visible. Front curb side, and back road side would work fine. Requested inside pictures would include dinette, kitchen, front and also closet/entry door. I am especially interested in your front dinette construction. So any details you would like to share on that would be appreciated.

Note: your serial number is actually near the beginning of the 1978 range of serial numbers.

It should also be noted that it has been quite some time since my last update. However, I have purchased a 4K, 28” monitor for my Christmas present. That should make an update much easier, though not exactly easy.

It will also make it easier to complete the drawings, that I am 90% done, for the factory fold down upper bunk over the dinette that will make it possible to recreate it.

David, I feel sure that somewhere in this forum is a list of trailers, Trilliums in particular, with serial numbers, who owned them and for how long, adventures they have had (in our case, an accident with a tree branch long before we owned it), and so on. Can you direct me how to find this please, and locate our Trillium on it. I'd like to update it. Thank you and sorry for the trouble. Ian in Lethbridge

VIN 451121156

In December 2020, we purchased "Trudy" from the same Ft Wayne dealer that sold her new.
She was built in September of 1978, but is registered as a 1979 model.

What you also have is a manufacture date sticker. This is gold to me. That is the Rosetta stone of Trilliums. You have also included the sticker from the closet, very nice!

Thank you!

BTW, Nice porch light.
