scamp headroom

Does anyone know what the head room is inside a scamp? I am 6'1" and want to make sure that I can stand up in there. Also what is the headroom like in an RV shower?specifically scamp shower.

It's all here, but that's without appurtenances. https://www.scamptrailers.com/pdf/Scamp%20Brochure.pdf

1. You dont really need a lot of head room in a camper.. most of the time you will be sitting or lying down.... but bed size is critical. Sleepless nights are not fun. And at 6'1" the bed is going to be tight. I'm 6'0" and I stretch out so I end up diagonal in the bed, not leaving much room for anything or anyone else. You should really tour a Scamp in person before buying one.

2. As for the shower.. it depend on the layout. But with the side bath like I have in my layout 4, there is NO headroom. A six foot you need to sit on the commode to use the shower. You should really tour a Scamp in person before buying one.

BTW, at 6'1" dont expect to stand up straight in a Scamp except perhaps in the very center, and if there is a roof A/C, not where it is at all.

I think Scamp claims 6'2" or 6'3". Standing inside, you will be close.

Front Scamp bathroom is much roomier & taller than side bathroom. To shower in side bathroom you would want to be seated on the closed toilette lid.

Best if you can actually step inside various models/layouts at either a factory tour or at an FGRV rally!

Best of luck to you!

Gordon is spot on. Walk with your head down and sleep with your knees bent or diagonal.

I just picked up a 16' and even as someone who's only 5'8", I was really surprised how cramped the side bathroom was. I cannot stand up in it due to it being elevated to accommodate the black tank, as well as the curvature of the trailer. I would say it's good enough for using the bathroom, but the shower I'd consider more of an "emergency" option.
