Scamp 16 black water pipe leak

We bought a 2017 Scamp 16’ layout 6 in August. We’re just returning from a 7 night trip and discovered a small leak in the black water 3 inch pipe. The leak is at the connection (trailer side) of the 3 inch pipe to the valve assembly. Can anyone she’s light on how the valve is connected to the 3” pipe on scamps? Is this cemented (doesn’t appear to be as I don’t see evidence of the cement leaking out around the connection)? Threaded? Bayonet mount?

Not sure from the photo but the valve is a guillotine type which is sealed with an "O" ring. it may just need to be snugged up or maybe the o-ring has failed.
the valve is glued at the inlet and the outlet where it attaches to the pipe.
It can normally be serviced by disassembly and replacing the o-ring.
You could even buy a new valve and use the new gate o-ring and bolts to rebuild the valve without glue.
Fitting at the tank itself is threaded and it costs less than $50 to replace the entire assembly if necessary.
If the wrong treatment is used, the valve will get a buildup of deposits which will make it hard to operate over time, and rebuilding as described above is a simple solution which can be done for the price of a new valve and the use of ordinary hand tools.
First try to snug it up though.
OH!! empty the tank and rinse it thoroughly before disassembly.

So, the valve is glued to the pipe coming from the tank? It is the joint where the pipe from the tank connects to the valve that has the leak. From that, are you suggesting the easiest solution is to in screw from the tank and redo that entire assembly (which is an elbow from the tank to the valve)?

No, it looks like the flange which is leaking.
Just take it apart with the bolts, clean it, and replace the o-ring with the one from the new valve, keeping the glued side of the flange in place..

It’s leaking at where the 3” pipe connects to the full valve assembly, not the middle section that comes apart with the four bolts
