Greywater plumbing to tank on Burro

Does this plumbing to my greywater tank on my 1990 Burro make sense to anyone? Both the water entering from the shower and sink, and the water exiting to the the greywater drain valve, are connected to the single fitting at the very bottom of the tank. The tee in the front of the picture is picking up the shower and sink lines. The water exits to the right to the valve that is out of sight. I am considering adding a fitting as close as possible to the top of the tank for an inlet?

It does not matter if the tank is a "flow through", or a "dead end", which this picture seems to show. It is a simple buffer for the grey water. Water will still flow into it, in one direction and out of it in the opposite direction, when the drain valve is open. Of course, the tank needs to have a vent or overflow somewhere at the top of it. You can find it if you simply overfill it and look for the extra water outflow, or just keep looking for it, it should be there. I would leave it alone.

OK, I see your point, the water will seek the same level in the tank and in the pipe, thanks-- Frank
