Noob with 86 Uhaul CT13

Hi all my name is Ed I am a new owner of a Uhaul CT13. The body is in Mint condition the icebox was upgraded to a fridge (upon inspection not a 3 way!) It will be replaced if I can find a used 3way or 12v-solar fridge that will fit or I will use it as is as an ice box not a major priority.
The interior is all stock otherwise.
The swamp cooler cover is broken and very brittle so I removed the whole thing in preparation of a fantastic or maxx fan with rain cover.
I was told that it sat the last 10 years under a carport in the arrid northern NM mountains. The floor is solid and windows sealed well. It was very dusty inside due to the door gasket missing. I will post pics after I put a little elbow grease into it.
I am very excited. I pulled the old deep cell and replaced it with my boat battery and all the lights turned on even the vent fan and light over the stove turned on! The propane system needs to be upgraded but looks complete its just weathered and the connector outdated. The trailer lights plug is also rotted out will attempt to cut and patch it and go from there.

That's the best thing about these little eggs, they are hardy little souls. Be sure and post photos, we all love to see them.

Welcome to the group!

Many Uhaul owners are now on the Uhaul Facebook site. Lots of good info there.
