Happy New Year, fellow Eggheads!

We just returned from a successful 1500 mile shakedown cruise to South Florida , and wanted to post a few pics of our interior makeover of the '95 T-4-2. We completely gutted her down to the shell. What we've done so far:
1. new flooring (had to replace water-soaked osb flooring)
2. suede-microfiber wall covering over the existing rat fur
3. new maxxair remote-controlled fan
4. removed water tank for additional storeage under the sink & made new door
5. added microwave and 110v fridge
6. removed worn out propane stove...removed tank; we can use a portable when we need
7. added outdoor area light
8. added under-the-seat access doors---we found baskets that slide under the seats making it very simple to pack & use.
9. replaced rivets (ugggh!) & caulked joints as needed
10. etc. etc. little things like curtains, fold down counter extensions, power outlets, refinished birch table...etc.

More pics for those interested in this rare lil egg box are at http://new.photos.yahoo.com/crosstrainingc...460762381782617 -- when we really are finished I'll post a better album.

Towed like a charm...the space inside seems to expand when we use it...plenty of storeage...bed is huge...turns heads...makes 2 people be really nice to each other--a real relationship builder!! We've tented, popped up, towed a 30 footer, and this is heaven compared to all of them. Simple, efficient, cozy, easily maintained, and the 2 of us can manually move it to its hiding place in our backyard.

As new members, we've loved the info & inspiration in the forum and look forward to sharing more in 2007. Thanks & best wishes to all!

Bill and Pat have done a terrific job ! I saw the "before" last month and the makeover is amazing. Pat was sewing cushion covers that day and the interior was in pieces, so they have really worked to finish the job. Very cozy. It will be a treat to see it again in person. A great way to start 2007

Gosh that is nice. Your interior would cheer anyone up on a rainy day.
Who would want to leave? Beautiful work.

Thanks for the kudoes, all! We've really enjoyed updating the little cutey. We just came in from tugging her back into the backyard, just itching to hit the road again. Thanks again for the compliments on the renovation!

WOW, What fabulous colors!! These pictures are always an inspiration to me. I especially think the wall covering makes it look so nice and soft. Great job Christi

I realize that this is an old thread but would love to see those photos if the OP still has them somewhere on a site. I'm also working on a T-4-2 and some of the upgrades sound good.

Also wondering if you still have your little Lite House - love what you did with it! I am working on mine now, but only putting throws over cushions for now, as I haven't sewn in years, but guess I will get out machine and renew old skills. Love my "premmie camper" and hope to see more photos from your make-over. Dolores

Lite House

Hello - Going to try to post pictures! LOVE my little Lite House, even with a few leaks and runnings lights not working, etc. It is such a neat size and just what I was looking for to easily pull with my Escape.

Well, can't get pics uploaded - it is asking for URL - not sure how to post pics so will try to research how to do this and post later
