Storing your 5th Wheel Scamp at a storage facility - space measurements?

Hi! We may be purchasing a 5th wheel Scamp soon and will store this at a storage facility. I’m seeing some space dimensions listed but unsure if we need anything bigger than the smallest RV space. Here are the options. Which works best?
10X20 feet (this one right?)
12X30
12X50

Anything else I should know when choosing a storage facility. Thanks!

Lorrie
PS Local code forbids parking on our property. Would be nice. But not possible.

Buy the trailer that best suits your needs. If it is under 20 feet long then the small space works, if not you need a bigger space. Try to find a yard that sells storage by the actual foot rather than jumping the price up in 10 foot increments. Sometimes they have to do that though if they are putting you into pre-made parking slips. It really depends on the storage facility, some of them will put two smaller trailers into one long parking slip moving the blocking one out of the way for access when needed. But if they are charging both of the small trailers the price of the long slip then it is called ripping off the customers. Around where I am my 13' trailer would be charged the price of a 20' slip as that is the minimum charge. But then they would stick me in a small area between other stuff because it is light enough to push into a gap by hand, another customer rip off

Not knowing anything about your area this is what I asked in my area.

Is the storage secure do they have camera's, is access controlled, have they had issues with break-ins. At one I was with for two years the camera's were useless, they recommended not leaving anything valuable in the trailer and not locking the door as thief's would only damage the door to get in.

I always keep my trailer insured year round.

10 x20 is more than adequate to store a 19’ Scamp!

How much does it cost?

We found two fairly close by storage spaces. $60-70 per month. The space we are in is 11 x 20 but we are moving to a 12 x 20 this weekend. We found this to be tricky to back into with 2 very large rigs on either side, so that foot will really help.

Be sure to consider not just enough space for you to back in, but enough space so the rigs on either side of you can back in too.

You could always hang boat fenders along the sides...
