SOLD U-Haul 13' $1800

I am posting this camper for a friend who actually had to and I was fortunate enough to get to buy one of them from him and I was actually able to make a trip to him this past weekend to check this one out and see if it would be a project that I would be able to tackle. Unfortunately, I am 19 and running a business, going to college full time, and building teardrops and fiberglass campers, but I have too many projects going on otherwise this gen would be mine. I am going to be completely honest with you guys as I went and checked it out this past weekend expecting to possibly buy so I look it over very well. The exterior has a couple of places in the fiberglass that need to be patched, but no huge holes or anything like that. The frame is in excellent shape there is very little rust even on the surface of it. I'm currently in the middle of replacing the entire floor in a U-Haul, so I knew what to look for when going in to see if the floor would be replaced or not, and I can say the floor of the camper is in excellent shape. It has one small place at the very front of the camper that the floor feels a tiny bit like he could have a little bit of moisture in it, but not something that would necessarily have to be replaced, and would be a small job if you chose to replace it . The door on the camper needs a bit of work, and possibly even replaced and less you're good with fiberglass. It has a couple dings in it, is loose, and has a major crack down the side that could be glassed back together. The interior of it Will need some work Will need some work as the cushions are pretty much unsalvageable, and the place where the icebox originally was has been cut out. The man that is selling it does not know much about it so if you have any questions you are welcome to call me at 931-349-4568, if I don't answer feel free to leave me a voicemail and then I can send you his contact information if you like what you hear. Thank you! The asking price is $1800 OBO

U Haul

This would be a great project for the right person. Shouldn`t take too long at that price.

Bob, that would be good advice with any other trailer, but U-Haul uses a rim unique only to them.

Uhaul now sells those rims on their eBay store. Sometimes out of stock, but they restock regularly.

Would love to see some forum member snatch this up and restore it.

It may be some Camaro hubs that have the same bolt pattern that will bolt on the Uhaul axle, and another GM hub will convert it to the standard 5 on 4.5 bolt circle. That info may be in the document center here, and certainly is on the Uhaul Facebook group. Uhaul rims have a non standard offset, so using something else may cause clearance issues. Sealed bearing hubs, no greasing necessary, or possible.

I'm in TN but have no idea how to rehab a camper

This is in my price range but I think I need to start out with something liveable/moveable at first. Thanks for posting though!
