New Burro Owners Seeking a Mentor!

Hi All-

My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a 1986 Burro 17' wide body. It is in mostly good shape with a few projects left (see below). We are looking for a 'burro-mentor' to reach out to with questions etc as we go along. Hopefully there is someone out there with a 17' wide body in a similar year!

We are a family of three, with our son just having turned one. We are interested to hear from anyone who camped in a burro or similar with a young child!

-new water storage tank and water lines
-new propane lines
- fiberglass patch of interior crack
-replace dinette table and table support
-new cushions
-custom mattress
-solar/alternate energy plans
-magnetic cabinet closures

Most of your topics are not Burro specific. Lots of threads on most of those topics. I’d read some of those threads for instant, fast learning.

That’s basically the process I used to get a jump start knowledge wise.
