Is the Snoozy the trailer for me?

No. But I could say the same about some other brands too. In the FG RV market, there is plenty of room for more brands with different designs. What works great for one might not work for another. The more diverse the designs, the easier it is to find the "right" one.

I wish Wesco all the success in this endeavor.

Frame looks pretty darn sturdy to me.

The frame looks like it should have a boat sitting on it. And a surge brake? Really? No thanks.

That’s why there are different brands and different models. Everyone looks at things different. For instance I bought a Snoozy rather than the Casita that I looked at at first because the Casita has a black tank and all those pipes hanging under it. It is smaller inside. At first I was convinced I needed propane. Turns out I did. I just didn’t need installed propane. I have electric brakes on ours but all of the owners I have talked to like the surge brakes. Just different strokes for different folks.

I've also owned a bunch of different boats, (and trailers,) for over 40+ years, and most of them had "inertial hydraulic surge brakes." Every one of them worked for several months and then went to $h!+, without exception, and none of them have ever seen water. I don't like them, and I don't trust them. But if you like them, then go for it.

Folks ... The Snoozy II Is Better!!

It's unfortunate that the second owner of Lil Snoozy
did what he did. However, that has no bearing on the
new Snoozy II as far as I'm concerned.

I've seen the new Snoozy II and hope to get a chance
to go to SC and visit the factory. The much stronger built
Snoozy II and a new 'Shark' color was better than I
had expected. And ... with the possible graphics they
are considering offering, it's going to be quite a RV.

I wish the company the best and hope to visit soon ...

-----------
ADDED: As To Surge Brakes ...

I've used trailers for over 50 years now. Yep, I'm an old
guy. But ... I've NEVER had a problem with surge brakes.
Not true with electric brakes however.

I'll take surge brakes over electric brakes any day. I think
knowing how to tow them and how to effectively back them
up may make a big difference.

Hope you can put up with the "2 Use and Dump" mini porta potti. That thing wouldn't even get me through the morning. But then, it is doubtful that I would even fit in that linen closet they call a bathroom anyway. Just sayin'

Oh, and you really have to love that "retro" afterthought of an A/C unit hanging out the back wall. So attractive!

Actually, nothing says you have to have the cassette toilet.
I prefer a composting toilet which I'm sure could occupy
the same space.

As for the A/C .. Doesn't bother me a bit as to it's location.
Plus, it has two pluses going for it. One, it's not an expensive
roof mount and can be easily replaced. Two, it means no
roof leaks since there's nothing mounted to the roof.
I'm more interested in function rather than form.

I totally understand that everyone has their own likes and
dislikes.

A/C is pretty similar to what Casita uses in their 16 model, and used to use in their 13. Surely not as noisy as most roof top units.

Lil Snoozy back?

The cassette toilet does us for two to three days until the cassette needs emptying. The nice thing is it eliminates the need for black pipes hanging under the trailer and the cassette can be emptied in toilets etc. if a dump station is not available. Most Snoozy owners like it.

As for the bathroom size, it is comparable to any of the small FG trailers and has better headroom than most.

The AC is quieter than a rooftop and a lot cheaper to replace. Not having roof openings was a big selling point for me.

The unconventional shape will not appeal to everybody but we like ours a lot.

I just learned about Snoozy2 bringing the Snoozy back. As a former Snoozy owner of the first time around, I am delighted to hear about the come back. I had to sell mine for health reasons. Regaining some health I may be interested in another molded fiberglass trailer in the future. I am under different circumstances now so the search would be on again. I have a stick build I will have to dispose of first. Too big and too heavy. I have a bigger tow vehicle so will have more options.

It is good to hear your are doing better. I believe you were one of the very first buyers. The Snoozy 2 builders are in production and have sold some units. There is a Facebook Group called Snoozy 2.
