This is mainly for comparison and contrast with the other FS' out there. These pics were taken at Catalina State Park near Tucson, AZ. The awning is the same one used by VW campers. The air-conditioner is a big Coleman and the max vent is over the bunks. The refirgerator and battery compartment are on this side.

This side has cable TV hookup, water, furnace, hot water heater and electrical. The inverter is the original 20 amp and it's located under the bunk near the electrical cord. The furnace is propane and is run by a wall-mounted thermostat mounted on the wall next to the frig. Our electric water pump is also on this side near the 15 gallon water tank. This also shows the propane tank arrangement and sewer hose holder. The gravel guard over the front window is tinted. This axle setup uses four 12" 8 ply tires. Two sewer connections are at the back, one for the toilet and the other for gray water.

The bumper is fiberglass and there are two wheels under it for driveways, etc. The little window is the head and shower. We're both pretty tall people, so we like to guy out the awning for more head room. Also works better in the heavy winds.

As you can see, there is no mount for the spare tire. It rides on the crank when we travel. So far we've had no cracking in the gel coat; it doesn't shine up anymore, but one of these days she'll get a new paint job.

I remember you, John. Welcome back. Didn't you post a while back about how you replaced your carpet with linoleum (or was it vinyl?) flooring? At the time I was so envious of your results, but was not ready to put in the hard work you did.

Another 1982! The '80s vintage units look better than my '78.

Morning John, Welcome not only to the ranks of F.R.V. but to the Fiber Streamers!! I have an '85, and really love it. I know it's a long way, but you should try to make it to the Oregon Gathering, in july.....just a hint. It's a great time, and you would make 5 Streamers, I believe

Hey Frederick; We did all that interior work in the summer of '03. It was a vinyl floor that we installed over a new plywood floor. We were able to cut the vinyl to fit in one piece. All those pictures are on our old computer. I'll repost as soon as we transfer them to the new machine.

Randy & Renee; this summer we're heading to Arkansas; going to do the whole state and visit the Clinton Library. We met a Burro owner while we were in Cimmaron, Colorado a couple of years ago. She's from Texas, but she told us that she thought Arkansas had the best state park system in the country. I don't know... we thought Florida & Georgia were pretty special.

We were up in Oregon in '02; spent 8 days over Labor Day at Lost Lake, outside of Hood River. That Columbia River Gorge area is spectacular. We were at Crater Lake for their centennial, but the fires that year made that part of the state pretty smoky.

Could you please send me some information regarding the Oregon Gathering, I tried to get the information from the Fiberglass website calendar page by clicking on the hyperlink 2006 Oregon Gathering. I received the following error message:

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or
don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help
files for more information.

Thank you,
