Just curious, is the roof normally strong enough to support an AC?

Mine has one but was not built with it and it seems fine.
There are several ribs across the roof helping to support the load and other than these the roof is flat.
Mine is located where the fridge cabinet on one side and the kitchen cabinet on the other offer floor to ceiling support so it is a very strong spot to place the AC unit.
