Hi Michael,
The Bigfoot has a ducted furnace with 3 output vents. I will try to find an appropriate link to 1500 series Bigfoots later.

Good morning Shawn,
The front dinette/bed is 42"X77" and the rear gaucho/bed is 39"X71". We are average size and managed to use the rear bed, while the first owners used both beds. The front table tends to collect all manner of materials, brochures, and jetsam. I have seen folks with this trailer screw a flange into the floor, in front of the rear gaucho with a small post and table to serve as an alternative to the front dinette.

I have seen this trailer on several occasions. It is clear that it has been well taken care of. It is even more impressive in person than the pictures can convey. NICE TRAILER!

Do you know what the R-value (insulation value) is of the walls for this Bigfoot? I'm looking for a fiberglass RV for my daughter who lives in Alaska, and the R-value is an important consideration. I've searched online for this information but to no avail, since the bigfootrv.com website is no longer active. Thanks very much...

interesting....never occured to me...

As a fellow CB owner..."permanent bed up front, folding table (no flange) at the back for eating" ??...yep, that would work quite well I guess...just never heard of that one before (I did the rear big bed mod, using dinette table to fill space between fridge and kitchen sink area)
insulation is one inch thick styrofoam (picture of bathroom ceiling/roof)

Thanks much for sending the photo of the ceiling insulation. One follow up: do you know if this 1" rigid foam covers the entire structure or is just in the ceiling? I ask only because many of the "typical" RVs add additional insulation in the ceiling. I assume that with fiberglass RVs the construction would be consistent throughout the entire structure (ceiling, walls, and floor), but I don't know for sure.

No winter package in this trailer
Hi Peter,
I think your right that the 1 inch insulation is in all the walls as well as the ceiling. I'll try to find the R value later. There isn't a winter package in this unit (optional then) I think as of 2005 (2500 series) and then called a 17.5 (new molds) all of the BF had the double pane Windows, larger furnace, and heated tanks

yep....
the one inch thick insulation is "everywhere"...but there are gaps here and there...like the front wall...rigid foam cannot follow the curves, so there's gaps.....
and yes, a "winter package" it is not....no double pane windows, no insulated/heated tanks.....for that you gotta go up a few years to the 2500 series, 17.5 model of the same trailer(produced after 2005).......MSRP in the high 40s and weighing another 700-800lbs
Alaska in the summer? sure.....Alaska in the winter??? you're dreaming in any trailer.
