Yep and on practical terms I want to go further on the limited fuel I can carry.

Off to Seattle via Port Angeles. Too bad Olympic Hot Springs are out !

But this is stuff I'm sure you've thought about and not why you came here!

You know you've got me thinking that I can also just collect the water in those collapsible water totes. So instead or risking freezing up my dump ports I can cart them off to a gray drain when available.

For sure I plan on discussing this with any resort I do business with. There is always this option as well and many are year round.

Delays Delays...

I will post up here when I get the project going. The developer that is buying my house is working out some creative financing. This will delay my lump sum final payment until Spring.

Its got its perks $$$ wise so I can wait haha !

Off to the road peace,

I had a 1995 Peterbilt 377 tractor with a 425 hp Detroit engine. It weighed 18,500 lbs bobtail (no trailer) It had amazing power and would get 14 mpg without a trailer. (6 2/3 mpg with a GCVW of 80,000 lbs). And it had two 125 gallon fuel tanks.

The reason I say this is if you could find a used highway tractor with a long enough wheel base to mount a 21' trailer body, it would be pretty economical. Better yet, find a 53' drop deck flatbed trailer and you could build a log cabin on it. Then license it as an RV and not be subject to any commercial vehicle laws (abuse). That would really P them off at the weight scales.

Pretty impressive MPG for such a big rig. Do they make one in 4WD ? Might need to take a look at 4x4 F450/550 flatbed rigs.

Off to go camp...

Starting to lean back to a Yetti Ice House and mounting backwards onto a Stake Bed.

For the cost of a quality used BF I can buy a brand new Ice House that will sleep 6. I can also trailer off and then have a stake bed/flat bed truck. Easy to load unload with retractable wheels and ball hitch.

Well insulated to boot !
