just remember that you cannot open your gifts until Christmas Day. You cannot open the door. You cannot look in the windows. Santa will come and take it back.
You can pick up the egg and gently shake it if you wish.

He won't be back for hours.. he is sitting in it, eyes glazed over, mumbling "Mine Mine Mine" over and over again.

Congrats on your new baby!
Like any proud papa ... you need to post some pictures.
Did you take pictures of the big truck laying the egg?
I'd like to see that!

So, would the interior carpet or ensolite you single shell folks have be like that membrane that NEVER comes off when I try to peel a hardboiled egg? He'd have to peck thru that, I suppose...

Not a chance. That's the guest house. LOL... Actually we're not giving up on the backpacking thing.
Sorry about not getting pictures of it still sitting on the truck. I had to go to a truck stop to pick it. There's not enough manuvering room around my driveway to get that truck in.
We did get it home. Unpacked all the curtains, curtain rods, cushions, etc. Here's a couple pictures. It's quite dirty. It was riding at the front of trailer and caught a lot of road spray. As soon as the weather get warm enough that I can wash it, it'll get a bath.
The picture shows both the trailer and the tug. Heading off now to get the porpane tank filled so that I can get the inside temperature above 30°
Pretty exciting stuff for us.

Oh, Congratulations, you two! And thanks for the pictures!
The sink set up is different than I've seen before. Is the high faucet the one with cold and the faucet with the glass-type handle the one with hot? Did you order it special that way?
So where is your first trip going to be? Are you spending the night in it tonight? How fun, how fun, how fun!

The high faucet is has a hand pump for use with the water tank. The one with glass-type(plastic) handle is city water faucet.
We haven't figured out where the trip is and when. Nope, not spending the night in it yet. We'll take it someplace for that.

Enjoy!!!

I must confess, I filled the propane tank, checked the stove and furnance. When it arrived all the curtains, curtain rods, dinette cushions, table top, gravel shield, spare tire, spare tire cover were all in the dinette area and wrapped up. Took a bit of time to unwrap and put they belonged. Spare tire is still in plastic sitting the garage. We set the table in place for use as a table. Haven't tried to make it a bed yet.
I'll at least make down into a bed before I take it anyplace.
This week is very very busy for me. Lots of Christmas presents to get finished. My grandkids know there's a Santa Claus and know what he looks like.
And they all spent time in Santa's workshop.
I'll post pictures of Santa Byron's creations in another thread later.
