Black Water Tank Removal on 5th Wheel Scamp

Hi there folks!!!
There is a mystery leak from the shower underneath the blackwater tank through the OSB floor. I talked to scamp and they said pull the tank and take a look. I have disassembled the drain valve but I can not seem to get that elbow off the bottom. The guys at scamp said it just unscrews but I it won't for me and I am worried about breaking something. I can see the wax seal through the gap in the OSB. Can anyone suggest something I might be missing? I would greatly appreciate it. I have used the search engine but haven't found anything that is useful.

Let's start with "what year is your Scamp 5th wheel"? It's possible (and probable) the situation with the plumbing has changed over the years.

I think it is a 2006. It was made just after the original factory burnt down. This is actually my friends trailer. I am tasked with fixing it.

It is equipped with a sealand tank and sealand toilet. i just can't figure out how to disconnect the black pipe from the tank.

Could the leak actually be coming from above the OSB? Our previous Scamp's toilet had a leaky inlet valve on the side near the flush pedal. It's a fairly common problem and the valve was easy to replace.

Well just to update things for future victims of this problem. I got the tank out. You have to replace every piece of ABS plastic. To remove it cut the elbow that comes directly from the tank. Cut it across the elbow joint. Then unthread it from the tank. The three bolts that held the tank in place caused the problem. Because of whatever reason the fiberglass around the the screw holes peeled back a bit. In the factory the tank does not fit the area in the shower so it actually sits at a slight angle. If you put it on the shower floor the fitting coming out of the tank doesn't fit. Please fit everything before installing and use the correct ABS primer/cleaner and adhesive. Also silicone the threads holding tank to the shower floor. I hope in later models Scamp fixed some of the poor engineering I ran into. Also it takes 2 regular wax toilet gaskets to seal the hole in the shower. Use a heat gun on low and papertowels to clean off any wax on the tank and shower floor.
