Jim,
I "just happened to" check your build thread this morning. What a time you've had!
Glad to hear of the timely "incidental", and your wife's returning to health. I agree, that God is good.
Happy Camping!
Gary

I can relate... for the last 18 months I've been dealing with the passing of my father and extended illness leading to disability of my mother. I've been pretty much sole care giver. The result of this situation is a dirty, neglected, unfinished Burro in the driveway in front of my house, unmoved since last Fall.

Mom is now in Residential Senior Care and my part-time teaching job wraps up next week, so I'm hoping to jump back in on my Burro then. The downside of working on it is that as a bachelor used to roughing it, I was able to get it functional and had little to no inspiration to go farther.

I want a working gas hook-up to the stove with a stubbed off connector in case I decide to go with a propane fridge; then all of my DC electrics (both for road lights and internal illumination) and adjusting the door hinges and lock and I'll be solid. Pretty curtains and carpet on the roof along with other little details, and I'll be good to go!

I am just starting the gas. I decided to put in a stove and a catalytic heater. The heater is going to be removable for summer time to give room. I found a propane quick disconnect that I Plan to put in the "stubbed" off end for the heater. This way when I want ot put the heater in I just connect it like you would an air tool to an air hose. The connector similar to this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Propane...GJYGGCSD4XGPBT

I did not buy it on amazon but it looks to be the same connector. I liked it because it has a shut off. That may work for you Froggie and make it easy to add in later.
