"Baby Moons" over Niagara?

Ron and Mo here, from London, Ontario. We're the beekeepers bringing our 1973 Unik, aka "The Winne-Bee-Go" to the Wine Escape on the 18th-20th.
Counting down the days to our first rally, and planning something fab for the pot luck. I know it's a long shot, but: Is there anyone coming to the rally who might happen to be selling old hubcaps? We're hoping for baby half moons for our brand new 13 in, 4 bolt wheels. Maybe someone is selling an old set? Maybe someone knows a source here in Southern Ontario, Canada?

Regarding the moon caps, I think you might be able to get them from Happier Camper; Add-Ons | Happier Camper. We are probably going to change to 14" wheels so these won't work for us, but I did find these recently when I was looking!

We've been moved to site 41 which we like better than our original reservation of 44. The campground is great and the weather is perfect. We're just short on eggs this early in the week.
We spent the day watching the ships go up and down the hill at Welland Canal lock 7. We'd recommend that experience to anyone. Looking forward to whatever tomorrow brings.

Hi: Brian M. in NY... Sure hope we didn't get the dates mixed up? In order to get more eggs you gotta feed the "Hens".
See ya on Thru afternoon. Wife's got a Dr's. appt. Thur am.

Ok everyone it's been a crazy week! We are excited to come for our second year and unveil the updated camper interior we have been working on for about 2 weeks now. (My orders daughter is waiting until she has to sleep in it before she sees. The youngest has been my awesome helper) My girls are excited and we keep telling them we have so many "kilometers" to drive then we have to hook up to the "hydro" and they are so confused about our dilemma of how we are going to put the milk on the table.

I added the last photo (Breakfast at Betty's for 42 of us) at the Niagara Wine Escape 2015 page. Had a great weekend; even the weather was good - rain all around us, but only a short period of light rain at the campground.

Here are a couple of photos - more at the page above -

For those who were at the potluck and enjoyed a little bit of heaven eating a pumpkin, cheesecake dessert (OMG -- to die for!!!), the recipe has been shared by Rosella.

Pumpkin Torte Recipe from Niagara Rally 2015:

Thanks Alf and Mary Anne for organizing another great rally. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and the pot-luck was outstanding as always! Here is the pumpkin Torte Recipe for those who requested it:

Base:
24 crushed graham crackers (approx. 1 ½ Cups)
½ Cup sugar
1/2 Cup butter –melted
Mix and press into a 9 X 13 pan
Next layer:
2 Eggs
¾ Cup sugar
8 oz. package cream cheese – softened
Mix together till smooth. Pour over graham cracker base. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool while preparing next layer:
2 Cups pumpkin
3 Egg yolks (save egg whites)
½ Cup sugar
½ Cup milk
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 package gelatin
Cook in saucepan till thickened. Remove from heat and stir in 1 package gelatin soaked in ¼ Cup water. Let mixture cool completely. Beat egg whites till stiff – add ¼ Cup sugar and beat again. Fold the egg whites into the cooled pumpkin mixture and pour this over the cream cheese layer. Top with whipped cream. Chill and serve. I sometimes sprinkle the top with cinnamon.
Rosella (aka Dash)
