2013 Trillium 1300, $11,000, Sonoma County, California

This is a 13-foot Trillium which was made by Tom's company in Arizona in spring of 2013. Standard equipment: fresh-water storage tank, kitchen sink, electric water pump, city-water capability, three-burner propane stove, propane furnace. Upgrades: All windows are opening, high-clearance axle, dual 6-volt batteries, Maxx fan in the ceiling, most lights converted to LED's, natural linoleum floor (Marmoleum), some custom cabinetry, done by myself. Certain items shown in the photos can be changed according to your preferences, as described in what follows.

Has front dinette for 2 which converts to a single bed (29" wide). Has rear dinette for 4 which converts to a double bed (46" wide).

At present, the front dinette has a custom table that I designed, which I could replace with a standard RV table if you prefer, since I still have the original parts. Likewise, rear dinette has a custom permanent bed frame which is inclined by about 5", which I could either convert to a level bed, or replace with a standard RV dinette/bed--again, I have the original parts.
The closet has been converted to an insulated food pantry. If you would prefer to have a standard closet with no shelves, I can easily remove the ones that I installed.

Does not have a toilet or shower. It does have a cabinet for the Porta-Potty.
Original refrigerator has been removed. It was a 2-way, that is, 12-volt and 120-volt, no propane. It didn't suit us, and when it stopped working, we removed it and instead used two coolers: one small one where the refrigerator used to be and a larger one that we kept in the tow vehicle.

No water leaks, no water damage, mostly stored in our carport, good tires, regularly-maintained wheel bearings and electric brakes.

Trilliums have an Ensolite-type liner (closed-cell foam) rather than the rat-fur liner that is used on Scamps and Casitas. The liner has become unglued in some corners, but not in a way that affects its function.

This was our first travel trailer. We upgraded this year to a 17-foot Escape.
Pictures of the Trillium to follow (in a few minutes).

Here are the pix for the Trillium 1300.
Note another upgrade that I didn't mention in the original post: a Plisee screen door.

More Trillium pix. Note custom counter top flipped up to access sink and stove. Previous post has picture of custom counter top in lowered position, creating a single work surface.

Looks really nice Al, I like the counter drop down cover. Do let us know when it sells so your ad can be moved to the sold listings.

Hi Jill,
I had it weighed at a public scale. It weighed about 2,000 lbs.

I think your only chance to tow with that vehicle would be a small tent trailer (especially an older one), or one of the smaller ProLite trailers. Prolite makes composite trailers out of maple, aluminum and fiberglass. They are located near Montreal, and have a dealer in B.C.

thank you so much for your reply... I will continue my search and will check the ProLite trailer as well. There is another called oh crud, cant think of the name but they build cargo trailers for this kind of thing and they are very light, i just LOVE the look of this one of yours though. Great weight for someone too! I just wouldnt push it like you said. So thanks, step by step .. oh yea, it's called 'weroll' i think. Anyway, i'll keep hunting for something as i dont think a tent trailer would be too "stealth" lol

Jill - Look for an Eriba Puck. They weight about 650# dry. Go to "Eriba Pucks in the USA" on Facebook for more info.

Forrester's towing capacity is 1500lb

Towing at capacity is 'pushing it', although I don't know if the limitation is more on the frame side or the engine side.

My Tacoma has a towing capacity of 6500. I towed a 4500 empty trailer and it sucked. Especially in the mountains.

I think the rule of thumb is to not exceed towing capacity by 80%. I think if you're mostly towing on flats it may matter less.

Bottom line is, I recommend you try towing something before you commit to a trailer. Attaching a hitch to a Forrester is fairly easy DIY job and you can use it for other things than trailers (bikes, storage, etc)

I get 92 inches, 7 feet 8 inches, to the highest point, which is the top of the roof vent.

We'll probably complete the sale later this month. I'll update the thread as soon as it's final.

It is still SALE PENDING. (See my previous post.) I'll post something as soon as the status changes, either way.

Trillium 1300

Hi Al, I hope you don't mind me asking if your T went at asking price? It would help position me with my prospects.
