So much good information/consideration in this thread...I can't thank you all enough for starting and contributing to it!

"Is it worth it?" really depends on your budget. If it doesn't strain your budget, then 100% I think it is WORTH IT! You can start camping now! Who knows, maybe you will love it, maybe its not for you. Why not find out now?
One nice thing with molded FG trailers, you could buy one now, keep it for 10 years, and probably get 80% of what you paid for it back when you
sold it. A traditional trailer would LOSE 80% of its value in those same 10 years.
And you never know, your health now may allow you to do stuff that 10 years from now, you won't be able to do. Don't wait! I've had too many friends delay enjoyment until "after I retire" only to either get sick or worse.
We bought our first RV camper (fifth wheel) when we were 26, and heck, I camped as a child in a little Shasta. FG trailers tend to hold their value very well. So get one now, enjoy it, and by the time you retire, you will be seasoned campers and know exactly what you want.
In the world of 13 footers, Scamps are MUCH more common than Casitas.
