Final Pictures

I have three pictures.

First is a view of the completed setup with the yoke and WD bars in place.

Second is a closer shot of the yoke.

Third is a shot of the yoke and frame bracket from inside the storage box.

The next good day I am going to lower the storage box and notch the frame bracket U bolts and Strap-tech brackets so everything sits flush. I will take a final photo then.

When I finally get back on the road and find a level parking lot I will give it some final adjustments. Also when I can take it on a decent trip I will get back with my final thoughts on the hitch.

Brainstorm

Since I removed the battery and propane tanks to do this installation I have been looking at the empty space and thinking of other things I could do with it. Then it suddenly dawned on me that I could put my generator in there.

I have a Honda EU3000IH that I bought for my older camper. It will fit in there and it looks like a great place to carry it. I can switch to 20 pound tanks and put them in the main storage box. A few people have complained about wrestling 30 pounders in and out of the front compartment. Well this would help that problem.

If this works out I may switch to propane to power the generator. After all the regulator is right there. Has anyone done this? I can't think of any potential problems. What do you think?

Cut outs

This is how much I had to notch my storage box to install the Pro-Pride.

Thanks for the great information and pictures. I talked to tech support at ProPride and he mentioned that on Bigfoot models with front storage the need to use Lippert Straptech . Says they work great and less cutting compared to the normal jack style units used with ProPride hitches .
