Niel, Have had the same 21FB
Bigfoot for two seasons and are usually looking for a destination to stay warm! Only made minimal changes to our
Bigfoot; 175 watt
solar panel on roof, twin 6 volt cart batteries, 3000 watt inverter, back-up camera and 3m protective film on the front lower half to protect against rock chips. Most of extreme weather we encounter has been heading out of northern British Columbia into the western states in early spring with temperatures as low as -20c. Used a 5 gal water jug for the first couple of nights with the black/grey until we could find some source of running water to fill up. No problem keeping the Bigfoot warm with the standard
furnace on those first few cold nights. Considered a lift as we spend most of our travels
boondocking or on forest service roads but an
axle flip would gain four inches which is more than I wanted for height clearance around trees and possibly compromise the highway stability. No issues so far with ground clearance.
