94 Scamp Project in Colorado

Recently bought a 94.
For the price we paid, and in this era of higher prices, it seemed like a decent price.

It does have its quirks and positives, the biggest being a rather large AC unit on top that had defiantly lowered the roof. Seen here it is leaning forward.

The previous owner had attempted to fix this issue by adding a wood bracing.
it worked mostly, But it did cut the overall height of the Scamp, especially where the controls to the AC were.

You can see the bracing and the control shroud was loose.

So, we removed it already in place of a much lighter maxx fan. That AC weighed something like 80 pounds. We also removed the lions share of the wood brackets and put in something temporary for now with a bit more head room.

Then with the 480 8" rim tires it fit under my Dad's Garage.

We already started the carpet to Vinyl swap-out, and new 2" Memory X 2" med grade foam and new upholstery from Scamp.

now there are some nice items from the previous owner. I like all the wood cabinet fronts he put in. And he is the one who put that table together, all that was left was for us to Shellac it. He also has a handy shelf by the closet, the that wave propane heater that is super quiet and just sips propane.

Scamp updates

spider cracks, silicone layered thick (check under that rivet) and a phone line (plus other fiberglass holes like the coax cable, to fix) also removed the black stripe decals and lightning bolt. fixed the power brakes. Drums looked ok.
on the floor is carnage of the scrapping
