Hi, Scampers…!!!

Hello!!

New member…..figured I would register now in anticipation of getting our new 16ft Deluxe, Floor Plan A.

We placed the order for it last week…and of course there is about a 2 year wait for it to be ready. ( ummm, WOW! )

I’m sure there will be questions I have… as well as just general updates on our new scamp order and journey.

We are not new to RV ownership….but new to the “Scamp world”. Very excited about the latter, btw.

Thanks in advance for all the advice and help you guys will provide as time goes by…

Welcome!

When we bought our 19 it was in need of repairs and the folks here and on the SOI were invaluable. Whatever question you have three members will show up with at least four answers.

That is great to hear and exactly the reason for our registration to this group.

Hopefully my future posts will be less “trouble and repair” related and more along the lines of the fun of owning a new Scamp!

There is a much smaller user base at that site but some knowledgeable folks there as well. Some are members here too. I'm just not a fan of the forum software that SOI uses. If you want to get the most from online resources then join SOI also, a few Facebook groups, and maybe more. It comes down to how much time you have to read and interact with other owners online.

I submitted a request to join one of the Scamp FB groups a few days ago… but have not been accepted yet. ( which I am finding a bit odd )

I agree… I will be casting a wide net for our online resources. This forum is the first to accept…hopefully others will eventually.

Sorry and thanks for the assist.

Most of the soi people are here, but there are some good threads over there on old scamps. And I don’t think there is much difference between old scamps and new scamps, at least until recently.

I don’t Facebook, so can’t help you there.
