Considering a slight upgrade to our
trillium. We have what is likely a first generation variation of the Dometic Trimline Bag
awning, 7 ft. The poles are not integrated in the
awning front roll. We have the 7 foot
awning rail. Two poles are springloaded/adjustable, and the other two are likely the rafter poles with a loop to hook on the ground supports/legs. We do not have any sockets holders on the
Trillium.
The 2nd generation ones have integrated poles that fold out. I like how you can snap the rafters into sockets on the camper. Yes I know, it means a bit of drilling. We could also add sockets for the legs to place on the base of the camper.
WONDERING if I can put my old school rafters and legs into installed sockets. That trial might cost me $20 total.
Wondering as well if the legs and rafter pieces are a replacement part that is somewhat generic. Could upgrade those.
We also have the screen tent add on, and would love to be able to use it!
The video shows the newer version of the Trimline Awning.
