New to forurm new Bigfoot owner

Hi I just purchased a 2002 17cb Bigfoot. It's mint. Firstly I'm wondering what it's worth? I just paid $18500 cad for it. I'm thinking it's fair value? I'm thinking that they are about $40k new? Hard to find pricing on these.
Secondly I did notice that the upper cupboard above the range by the door is separated from the shell. Any trick to re attach? PL premium and a screw into the side of the door frame maybe?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your Bigfoot purchase!

Seems like a pretty good price. Only way to judge is to research comps here and at www.fiberglass-rv-4sale.com. Check current ads and recent sold archives.

Comparing with new (current or original MSRP in 2002, not sure which you meant) is interesting but not useful. Only thing that matters is what folks are paying now. Some popular used models were selling for more than comparable new last year because the wait times for new builds was so long. Many older models are worth more than original MSRP, but inflation distorts the comparisons.

The market seems to be cooling a bit this year, not surprising given the price of gas, general inflation, a return to more normal work and school patterns, and falling values of investment portfolios.

Depending on condition, 14,000 to15,000 USD sounds good to me, and I'm looking for one, if its in decent condition. 18,500 CAD seems reasonable. Can you post photo's of the cabinet issue?

I'd say you paid a fair price, on the west coast they run around 55,000.00 new for a 17.5 the 25 foot goes for around 72,000.00 new.

Congrats on your Bigfoot! I’ve been camping in Bigfoots (Bigfeet?) for nearly 20 years, first a motorhome and now a trailer. Have you checked out the Bigfoot Owners Club International forums? New Bigfoot owners can get a free 3-month membership and then it’s $20 a year after that. I find using the forums and searching the forum archives useful for a lot of my questions.
