Placement Bal-C on 13' Scamp

I'm having my stabilizers changed to Bal-C on my 2008 Scamp 13 so it will be easier to deploy than what I currently have.

The shop is looking at the 19" c-jack model 23219 to install...would this be correct for my trailer?

In addition, they are looking at angle iron from frame to bumper to attach them...would this be right, or do we want them attached solely to the frame?

I would want them mounted under the rear cabin, maybe a foot forward of the back of the shell, rather than way out back at the bumper where there's more flex. Mine has an extra frame crossmember under the dinette used to support the optional rear hitch receiver. I'd mount to that if you have it.

Mine were mounted to a cross bar, of 1 x 2" tubular steel bolted to the frame members just ahead of the car bumper. No welding required.
I also added two BAL jacks at the front of the cabim, on a piece of flat bar stock,
mainly to keep the Scamp from rigid.
This was on a 16 ft deluxe Scamp.
send me an e-mail and I can show you pictures.
