Casita - How Common Are Bunks?

Hello,

I have a small family of 5 (3 under 10) and am interested in a Casita w/ the two sets of bunks.

How common are these on the used market?

Any other advice for sleeping 3 little ones?

Thanks,

Matt

Rare, very rare. Best to plan on buying a new one. Get one on order, and while you are waiting, great! Pounce and cancel the order then.

Bunks for 3? You are talking the standard model (no bathroom), front bunks and side dinette that converts to a third bed. Plus the rear bed for the two adults.

You are talking unicorn here as far as finding one used. About as likely to win the lottery.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like I'll be putting the kids up for sale shortly to find one that fits.

Two sets of bunks- I’ve never seen one, though it is theoretically possible.

I have seen several Spirit standards with bunks up front, a third single dinette/bed on the side, plus the rear double bed.

There was a Liberty standard for sale recently with a huge 76x82” bed at the back plus bunks up front. Don’t know if it’s still available.

Have you given any thought to buying a used / new cargo trailer.
Not hard to add some fold down bunks - small kitchen and storages closets
and probably less expensive then a FG trailer

IF you're on Facebook Marketplace, there's a 2020 Casita 17' heritage standard for sale right now. It sleeps six! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...74290700444272
