Picked myself up this cute little vintage range / oven combo.
I look forward to the trials and tribulations of mounting it in!
It appears to be a 'coleman holiday' range.

That is a cute range. My egg doesn't have room for one and it is the one compromise that will stay with us like salt. My better half would make muffins in our oven and it became a camping tradition for breakfast. I can smell them now... Because you can - Enjoy!

You have a wonderful trailer Buggeee!
We are going to have to move our sink over in order to accommodate room for sink, oven, stove and cooler. I have seen portable range/oven combos you can use outside of your camper if you crave fresh camping muffins

Some pre painting photos of the trailer gutted out. There has been some shorty wiring in the past and a random assortment of cables. It looks like the trailer was wired twice and the previous owners just left a nest of cables!

Reminds me of Indiana Jones and the snake pit! Are you going to try to sort through all that or just start from scratch?

Started from scratch.
The old wires were linked up to an AC fluorescent light above the stove and a shore power outlet. No longer needed.

First coat of primer applied to the ensolite.
I used rustoleum's Zinnser bullseye 1-2-3.
First time using this product. Tacks on really well. I plan to do 2 coats each of paint and primer.

For paint I will be using easy flow semi gloss latex paint from Canadian Tire. Advertised for high traffic areas, durable and scrubbable.

I did 2 coats of Bullseye 123 as well and am very satisfied with the results. I let it cure fully for a week or more as I worked on other parts. It got good and tight, letting the texture of the ensolite show. Then I put on 2 coats of the topcoat.

Back to work, it may be November but the climate is still 'thankfully' warm enough to keep on keepin' on.

The interior ensolite is fully painted and I have removed the old loosey goosey black insulating material under the bed area and replaced it with tight, reflective insulation glued on with 3M super 77 spray adhesive and then cracks sealed with foil tape. The holes in the floor from the old frame have also been glassed in. The wiring to the signal lights have also been cleaned up.

Next stop, flooring and water tank.

What kind of roller did you use? long hair , small foam, brush? I too used that Zinnser bullsey but that stuff is like molasses, very think and doesn't cover well unless I thin it with water.

Hey Mensie,
I used a similar product to this. High density foam rollers.

Did you caulk the seams of the ensolite prior to priming/painting? A repaint is in my plans and I'm trying to plan it out.

I used bullseye with a brush. Ensolite is a bit rough and I wanted to get the best coverage between the ridges. I also ran any extra wires before painting and caulked the seams. You can barely tell where the wiring runs.
