Just purchased an older
Beachcomber that was under a state of repair and sat around for five years or more but very little work was actually done other then the dismantling. There are number of wooden strips and the floor that are rotten from one of the
windows leaking (window is out and hole tarped over). Is there an simple method of removing those wooden strips (3/4"X 2") from the fibreglass without damaging the fibreglass? And to replace these what would be the best recommendation and what type of glue or what would be the best to reattach to the fibreglass.?? I also plan on resealing all of the
windows but afraid may have more woodwork to do.
