I do not understand, you said in July 2009 after selling 2 prior trailers and buying this one
"I will never sell again, she's all mine!!" what happened?

I am selling this trailer to help someone out who needs the money. I was not EVER planning on selling this one, but I'm hoping it will be replaced when I'm paid back in the near future. I am not going larger since I love the 13' footers.....been there done that! I started to fix this one up so I'm sad to see it go. Things will work out with the trailer but I feel selfish keeping it when I know I can help someone out by selling it. I am a little more at ease seeing that it is possible to find one again.

What about that LONG rectangular side window!?!

I don't recall that mine or any other 'PP' I've seen had anything but oval/rounded side windows.

Does anyone OUT THERE in CYBERSPACE know anything more about 'original' versus 'modified'?

I thought the Perris Pacer is known for the long side window. The one picture in the album has the same size window, although it's got the radius corners: 1-13ftPerrisPacer

On edit, I thought I had a picture of Cheri Beckendorf's PP... but, I don't. It has the same window as Sherry's picture shows.

I'd like to learn MORE...

I've only seen the long window with the rounded corners (didn't know the term was 'radius window'), like the one in the album...never saw ONE PP with the pure square corners that Sherry's shows.

Let me hear from more 'PP' owners about the shape of their window!
INQUIRING minds want to know MORE!

Go here and you will see Jason Westerman's 1974 Perris Pacer with the same square windows. If you go to page 2, you can even see an early brochure that shows the square windows.

http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...cer-40228.html

The entire thread is interesting reading, as it appears the Pacer and the Minit by Beta Industries are extremely similar (in fact, Jason's has the words "Pacer" AND "Minit" on it ----as does the model in the brochure)---would be fun to know just how all that came about. But the bottom line is: it's a great little camper in the fiberglass family!

Thanks Vickie.
I learn something NEW every day.
IT JUST SEEMED SO VERY ODD TO HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL ROUNDED FRONT AND BACK WINDOWS (radius windows) and then the two very odd square ones on the sides.
Now, I'm curious if PP made these during only a few years or if the rounded (raidus side windows) ones on mine (PP) were actually not original and were modifications!
Anybody out there on the histoy of the PP production/body changes?
Thanks, again.

Hi bb-

From the two brochures on Jason's thread---the square ones were early on and the second brochure shows them rounded.

Is this trailer still for sale? Do you know if this unit was made in Perris, Ca. at Perris Valley Campers? They made several RV products in the 60's, 70's, & 80's. Mostly camper shells. Thanks Rich

1975 Perris Pacer

Hi Rich,
This trailer is still for sale. I have a few interested parties, but they're having trouble coming up with all the money. I sent you a private msg.
I think some of the others on this site would be able to answer your question about where these trailers were made, but from what I've learned is that they were made in Perris, Ca.
Take care

This trailer is no longer available. I was more than happy to see it go to such an excited young man. I think he'll love it as much as I have.
Thanks for all the interest.
