I'd say 6-8 months is more typical for
Scamp. One person did report a year, but they had intentionally delayed the pickup date to coincide with their vacation schedule.
Not sure about
Casita, but my general impression is that 4-6 months is average.
A full year's wait would be unusual for either company. They're well-established and have had a lot of time to adjust production to keep pace with demand, allowing for boom-bust cycles in the RV industry
That, of course, is my unscientific assessment based on reading a lot of posts. Comparing the average wait times for different manufacturers would be an interesting statistical exercise. Rather pointless, though, since the only number that really matters is how long it will take to get the trailer I want if I order today, and that can be answered with a phone call.
