Could someone tell me if the Burro widebody is another trailer size than the regular Burro? I am also trying to find the specs of inside and outside lengths and widths of both the Uhaul and Burro. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, the wide bodies are fatter than Uhual or "Older" Burros.
Here are the wide body specs. (Outside dimensions)
17 foot Burro travel trailer
Length - 17 feet 8 inches
Height - 7 feet 10 inches
Width - 7 feet 6 inches
Dry Weight - 1800 lbs.
Hitch Weight - 125 lbs.
That weight is not realistic.. it's without the options and like every trailer.. take the published weights with a grain of salt.
I wish I could remember the width of my "Slim Body" (Be quiet boyz!) I am guessing it's 5 foot six based on my height (5'1") and the fact that when I was laying down inside I was almost wall to wall.
Someone that actually still HAS thiers may be kind enough to measure for you tho.

Outside width is 6'6", inside is 6'4" although it sure seems a lot shorter when I am stretched out.

Nancy, there are a few versions of the Burros.
There is the "Midwest" made first versions, which are smaller. 13s, and not wide bodies.
There are the later version Wide Bodies from the midwest and then Escondido. They came in 17 foot version from Sac City (And Roger will correct if wrong) the 14 foot versions (Wide Body) were introduced in Escondido.
So, you have short skinny 13s, Long Fat wide 17s and 14s.
I am not sure if they ever made a "skinny" 17...
Uhauls and Scamps are all "skinny".

It might depend on the UHaul too. My husband could not stretch out in the 13' Burro, but he can stretch out in the 16' Uhaul. I don't know the width of the 13'Uhaul.

Nancy,
You could also search this forum and look at some people's changes. I remember someone who made a bed extension that allowed sleeping from with the head at the end of the trailer. The extension was at the foot end and could be dropped down or removed. This permitted taller people to stretch out.

Do you know the height of the 13 foot burro. I'm hoping it fits in my garage. Thanks

Leia, Burro has been out of business for nearly 10 years. I believe the last one was made in 2002. There's a lot of unknowns about an unknown trailer. Does it have a roof A/C? Is it the original axle? What's the hitch height? Does it have a vent with an additional cover on the roof?
I don't think any of us can give you a guarantee about the height of any Burro, just the one you're looking to buy and you'd need to measure that yourself, or get the seller to measure it for you at it's tallest area.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Donna will have to measure it when it gets here! But by then I will see if it fits or not. My mom bought it on Ebay and we forgot to ask height. Oops. All else fails I can park it on my land in northern Arizona but it runs the risk of getting stolen.

Burro has been out of business for a decade.
Their website states their address as 140 North Engel Street, Escondido, CA 92029 - Google Maps
It is an empty warehouse behind the Honda Dealership.

Roger,
I am lucky that I recently was able to get one of these 14' wide body Burros.
The additional length is given pretty much entirely to the bed/dining table. And the extra foot in length really makes a much roomier feel without being too much larger in class than my old "Skimp" Scamp 13'.
Just a note... on the paperwork from Burro that came with this trailer they call it their "Anniversary Edition". I found that interesting. It led me to think it was only available for a short period of time.
