13' Burro roof

While looking out the window longingly ( as I do often) at my beloved Burro. My eyes once again are drawn to the dip in the roof right where the vent is placed. Now, it doesn't leak and it seems solid enough. I think it may have been that way from day 1.
But it does bug me to see it. Especially after seeing all the perfect roofs in the photos on this site.
Of course if I was in it camping, I wouldn't notice it until I washed and waxed it again. That area does pool water, so I have to sponge it dry before I can wax it.

Any ideas?

Or should I just start looking out the basement window instead?

Burro vent dip

Should be interesting to hear from other Burro owners about this situation. Reading your description - I found myself wondering if it might be a result of Burro's double-hull construction. I suppose if there is an airspace between the two at that point - the vent could pull down the upper roof if it was clamped too thin (ie if the outer part and the inner trim didn't have sufficient space between them). If that WERE the cause - I'd think the vent could be removed, the area around the vent opening shimmed up to eliminate the sag and the vent reinstalled through the shims.

Just a thought...

It's a good thought Mike. The original paperwork shows its had a power vent, but it doesn't now. It could be that's what happened when it was replaced.
I was thinking about putting a power vent in later this year maybe. That will be a good time to test your theory.
