Scamp propane heater issues.

Have an issue with our 1994 scamp propane heater turning on but not providing any heat, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Usually once it starts to it will continue too until led to do for a whole. Our stove will always fire up. We've had to at times fire up stove for couple minutes then propane heater will work correctly. Any idea what's causing this and what can be done about it?

Be sure you have enough juice in the battery. I had the same thing happened to me, turned out I needed a new battery.

Since your trailer is 27 years old we have NO idea what furnace is in it. It might be the original, or it might have been changed out in those 27 years. So make and model?

For the Suburban models you should follow the Troubleshooting Flow Chart in the service manual:

Other things to consider. What routine maintenance has been done (see page 30 in above manual)? Have you checked for blockages from insects, etc? When is the last time you have had the propane system professionally inspected (annually is often the recommendation).
