This is our "new"
trillium, purchased from Gov Bud in New Hampshire. We are the third owner.
Had our first trip. Not without issues, but gives us something to focus on.
It is a front dinette model. Most is original. New 110
Fridge added (darn, wanted 3 way). Max fan in roof vent.
Has freshwater tank stored under rear dinette seat.
Battery pump to operate or a hand pump as well. Comes with a portapotty which we have not used. I am dabbling with the "pee funnel" as a liquid option that is much easier. We connected the grey water drain to Septic with a garden hose and a gadget that fits the septic pipe. (If
dry camping or not a 3 way hook up we will have to do some sort of catch of the grey water.)
Some struggles with the
battery system that we have not figured out yet. Not all overhead
lights are working. Seems like a faulty connection past the area the max fan was installed.
On the same subject of
battery, the 7 pin plug is put on the battery box while on shore power. It makes connections to the battery. Would that be how the battery is charged while on shore power?
We ran the max fan overnight and the battery died, while on shore power. so something isn't right.
2 110 outlets. One mainly for the
fridge.
We are having to redo the door hinges...not an uncommon fix.
Puzzling with the
awning. The Bag
awning is simple and
light, but the poles are the ancient ones, and we are thinking upgrade. We do have a screen room that velcros to it. Have not done that yet.
This is mainly a couples camper for us..both are semi retired. We plan to keep the rear dinette made as bed. Added an extra foam pad to it. Adult disabled children in their 30's will come some. Daughter will sleep on the front fold down dinette and we have a tent for our son.
So figuring out our
awning and outside space will be important. Perhaps a clam shelter? We have outside gas grill and portable table.
