Casita deluxe- dinette bed widen

I have a 1999 Casita deluxe. I have the full dinette which is my bed and then the smaller dinette is too narrow for my almost 12 year old. Any hacks to widen bed at night, make smaller in daytime. I like this camper and don't want to sell it if I can help it.

According to your info you have a 2000 16 ft Scamp.

Issues are the same either way.
