My COVID project - 19’ Bigfoot floor

So staying at home on weekends has really jumpstarted our updating. New LED lights, new fantastic fan, new blinds, new water ports, new upgraded 2x6V battery system with solar panel charging, and, my personal fav, new flooring!

When we bought it the previous owner put in carpet over the old worn lino. Pulled the carpet up, scraped off most of the old dried glue, and laid the tiles over top. Finished with oak baseboards to tidy up the edges.

While my husband has been dealing with the electrical side of things, this has been my project and I’m super happy with how it turned out. Click image for larger version

Wow, that looks great. I'd love to know what it weighs when you're done.

The tiles weighed about 70lbs. The wood baseboards was probably only a couple lbs.

That's great. Our first TV was a 2010 Dodge Journey, and although it was rated at 3500lbs, and the listed dry weight was 1750lbs, every trip was a struggle. In 2016 I finally weighed the trailer out of curiosity, and discovered the actual weight (loaded, without water) was almost 3000lbs. We became very conscious of every thing we added or subtracted after that lol.

Looks great! Great colour, too. May I ask what product you used? Thanks
