Hello,

Does anybody know where to get replacement (same look/style as original) cabinet door catches? The one for my closet got brittle and snapped in the winter when I closed the door.

If there are no no close OEM replacements, what have you guys done for new catches?

Thanks in advance.

Mike

I don't know what yours look like, but I've seen two different types of catches on Boler 13's:

1) You pinch a square on both ends simultaneously

2) There is a single button that you press with your thumb

Both are available at Vintage Trailer supply on this page:

http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Cabine...rdware_s/83.htm

#1 "Pinch catch" looks like an exact match, while #2 "Brass push button cabinet latch" has a slight convex hump and a linear pattern, whereas the originals I've seen have a slight concave hump and a pebble pattern - but they are pretty close.

I've seen other varieties of #2 at other RV suppliers, with different embossed patterns - but always with the convex hump. However, since the closet is a "solo" handle, away from the others, it might not be that obvious (or perhaps you have an even less obvious location and can switch a couple of catches).

boler pinch latches

Hello,

I believe I have the original latches. Pictures below. I don't find they work that well for travelling on bumpier roads. Has anyone replaced them but still with the original doors? I cannot find any that can latch the different thicknesses.

Thanks,
Ste11a
