Yes, it's worth noting that the tires in my Lite House are different than the tires on a Little Joe.

Yes, small tires have to work a lot harder. Still, some larger sizes also come with the lower speed rating. The trend has been toward higher speed ratings, which unfortunately encourages what I would consider dangerous towing speeds.

Not sure, but I think U-Haul trailers still say not to go over 45mph. But maybe that's only for this non-standard towing set-up...

Little Joe & woodstove

Glenn, The wood box is under the bench holding the wood stove - it's a 1lb rectangular plastic salad container. I plan to use use dried twigs and small pieces of wood gathered where I am parked to start the fire and compressed hardwood lags broken into small pieces to heat with. Jon and Kevin, I really appreciate the towing advice. My small water tank is at the back of the trailer and I think that really threw off the weight on my last trip. I’ll try redistributing the weight on my next trip in a few weeks and see if it helps. The Haul Master will have to wait a bit before I can get it installed. Many thanks!

If you have enough weight forward including 10-15 percent on the tongue. You won’t have a sway problem..

Little Joe

I appreciate the advice - more weight forward and drive slower!
