Fiber Stream Door Repair

New (to me) 1978 Fiber Stream owner here - hi everyone!!

My door is in very rough shape - mostly dents and screw holes from previous locks, etc. I want to replace the skin of it but I'm not really figuring out how to disassemble it.

Anyone replace or repair your Fiber Stream door and have tips, tricks or photos?

It looks like a pretty standard door for vintage trailers but my Google / YouTube skills aren't showing up to much...

Thanks everyone !

These doors can be repaired but depending on the extent of the repair required, it can be a lot of work even if you have the tools and skills necessary to do it.
A good used door, if you can find one, may be a more viable option.

Thanks and yes I may have to go that route and find a new door. I'm hoping I can just disassemble it and fix it but I cannot find any screws or obvious ways to take it apart. Here are a few photos.

Door options

I've seen an entire door replaced by Drivin-n-Vibin, but they used a solid home-made door which adds a lot of weight. You might take a look at their youtube pages to see if they go into details for disassembly.

We pulled ours out of the trailer with the frame attached. The construction appears to be quite typical for RV's. A local RV repair shop might be able to provide insight. Our door doesn't have the additional horizontal seams on the door skin.

Good luck!
