Scamp F WHEEL BECOME A TRAILER

I am the owner of a 1988 Scamp Fifth Wheel since 2001, it was in pretty bad shape when i bought it , i have done modification and repair every year and travel quite much in Canada and US.
I am now retired and did not want to keep 2 vehicules ,so i have try to sell the F-Wheel and P Up as a combo. I end up with the pick-Up sold and no interesting offer for the F Wheel. My plan was to sell both and then buy a small trailer to pull with my car..
Being stuck with the F-Wheel i have decide to make a regular trailer with it.
The project took me 9 month Sept2013 to June 2014.

Basically what i did was to remove 27 Inch from the nose where the bed is located. I have maintain my 60Inch wide bed in front by modifing the bed with a 27 Inch wide plywood attached with a piano hinges to the 33 inc remaining from the original bed.Passing from day and night configuration take around 3 minutes.

I love it.....when I first went shopping for an RV I toyed with the idea of buying a fifth wheel and turning it into a regular trailer (5th wheels, regular ones, are dirt cheap on the used market it seems) but that plan never became reality.

great idea with the fold up bed thing....puts all that stuff out of the way and out of view...congrats
