The first egg has been laid in the second nest. And dad is doing his duty. The female actually had to boot him off the nest to lay the egg.

I followed their every move a few years ago on the original nest when they fledged 3 chicks.

Makes me sad when they leave the next and don't make it to live on their own, though.
