On our Ventura stovetop there are holes at 10 oclock beside each burner and there are pegs cast into the black pot supports. Line up the pegs with the holes and everything is stable enough for cooking - but the pot supports could bounce off on a bumpy road so you may choose to put them away when mobile.

1975 Stovetop clips
Hey David here they are, you might have trouble getting the engraving on the back of them, just kidding. Hope this helps.

Congratulations !! That's very good buy . looks great.
We have the same model that we bought in Vancouver . The owner moved from Saskatchewan . Everything works, except the electric brake that we've never tested it, as I noticed that they cut the original plug and make into 2 sections , One for lights and the other for Battery , so that they can have connection to battery without plugging to the vehicle . I have no idea what does the original plug looks like.
We changed the door last fall as it 's rotten and we just changed the floor as well . We changed the cushion as they are too old and not comfortable to sleep on . ( we bought foam and we make the cover ,so it's cheaper ) .

I can post a picture of the original plug but I have a 2005 dodge ram truck and the trailer connection plugged right into my truck so its safe to say they plugs haven't changed since 1975. You can go to any RV store or Canadian Tire and get the same plug as the original.

Glenn, That is a sweet deal! Do you feel like a lottery winner?
Since it is brand new, you should take a look at other, more aged units to see which maintance tasks could make the most differance. Maybe fix some knowen design flaws.

Yes John it had the original propane tank that was still full so I swapped it out for a new one. Can't wait to camp.

My Ventra is Gone
Well the Ventura is gone before I even had a chance to camp with it. I traded it for a 1979 17 ft Boler! Well off to the Boler forum because this thing needs some work! Well not that much.

I'm sure both of you will be happy with your decisions...but a find like your Ventura is a wildest dream for many.
On the other hand, you've gained four extra feet of trailer, albeit with probably a bit more wear and tear.
